They said they want to "educate the farmers" about the anti-farmer land acquisition policy of he Haryana government.

The decision was taken during a Panchayat held in Ballabgarh, about six kilometres from here, on Thursday. The agitating farmers also warned the state government that they would stop work on the 1,832 acre IMT if their compensation was not hiked within a fortnight.

Farmers, led by president of Kissan Sangarsh Samiti of IMT Ram Singh, assembled at Nehar Singh Park in Ballabgarh for the meeting that lasted for two-and-a-half hours. The farmers decided to visit Bhatta-Parsaul villages on August 7 and remain there for two days.

They said they want to tell the villagers that not only the Uttar Pradesh government but the Haryana government had also forcibly acquired farmers' land.
