The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) on Saturday warned the villagers not to start construction. Chief executive officer Rama Raman has directed project engineers to check unauthorised construction in their area immediately and lodge FIR against the offenders.

"Unauthorised construction will not be allowed. Continuous demolition drives would be launched. Engineers would be held responsible for any unauthorised construction in their area," Raman said, adding that the land will be reacquired after negotiation with farmers under the new rehabilitation policy.
