Like Google Chrome, IE9 too allows the user to pin three favourite sites to the taskbar, making them just a click away. It also includes Windows 7's jump lists; any website that supports them will provide a quick menu to its most popular web pages, reported Mashable.
Microsoft says that IE9 is a reinvention of the browser. It not only includes greater HTML5 and web standard compliance, but also the ability to turn any website into an application on the Windows taskbar.
One of the biggest selling points of IE9 is that it offers greater speed by accelerating graphics, videos and text. It harnesses the PC's hardware to do so which enables it to renders heavy graphic interfaces far better than even Chrome or Firefox.
The drawback however, is that while it is meant for the 'regular consumer', IE9 has shifted tabs to the right side of the address bar, thereby reducing the tab space and as a result restricting tabbed browsing. To help decrease tab overload, they are grouped based on different websites within the taskbar.
