Fatehabad SMO caught taking bribe

The Haryana vigilance bureau has caught Dr Om Parkash Dehmiwal, senior medical officer, civil hospital, Fatehabad red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 from Azad Singh, a resident of Hisar, in lieu of issuing an emergency certificate for the treatment of his wife Raj Bala.

A spokesperson of the bureau said that case under Prevention of Corruption Act had been registered and further investigation into the case was in progress.
