The junior doctors met Superintendent Dr S C Tiwari and Dean Dr Nirbhay Srivastava to apprise them of the situation.
A meeting has been called on May 8 to take some final decision on the matter.

“To confirm our complaint, Dean Dr N Srivastava today conducted a surprise inspection and found almost 20 security guards missing from duty,” JDA president Dr Vineet Gour told the Hindustan Times.

He added that the roster had names of 130 security guards on duty but only 95 were actually present. He mentioned that security guards had been divided in three shifts with the morning shift having 46 guards, afternoon shift with 42 guards and night shift too having 42 guards.

Nevertheless, several of the guards were present only on the register, Dr Gour alleged.
