Comfort-Me-with-Offal-Ruth-Bourdain-s-Guide-to-Gastronomy

In what promises to be as cheeky and irreverent as the anonymous personality's famously snarky tweets, Comfort Me with Offal: Ruth Bourdain's Guide to Gastronomy is set to be released September 4, by Andrews McMeel Publishing.

The 204-page book also includes culinary pick-up lines, a primer on how to achieve the orgasmic potential of chocolate and yoga poses inspired by the burrito, taco and quesadilla. Apparently.

The fake Twitter account for Ruth Bourdain was created in 2010 and mashes up Reichl's haiku-like tweets with a few f-bombs and Bourdain's signature acid-tongued sarcasm becoming a viral hit among online foodies. The anonymous Twitter avatar, who has succeeded in concealing his or her identity, also won the James Beard Foundation Award for Humor last year.

As of August 23, Ruth Bourdain had about 57,000 followers, while Angry BFlay had 26,830.
