Thanks to a second-wicket partnership of 215 runs between opener Shikhar Dhawan and skipper Virat Kohli, Delhi made 308 for 3. Although Haryana fell well short of the target, they managed to spoil Delhi's plans. Left-arm spinner Vikas Mishra took four wickets for Delhi.

Haryana, who had won their previous three matches, need a bonus point in their next match against J&K.

For Delhi, Dhawan smashed 155 not out though Kohli (94) was unfortunate to miss out on a century. Dhawan's innings was studded with 16 fours and four sixes and came off just 153 deliveries. Kohli's 99-ball innings, meanwhile, included 10 fours. There was more bad news for the hosts as their debutant bowler Vineet Rathee was called for suspect action and forced to stop bowling.
