MacKeown, who brought Scelette Keeling's body back with her to Britain, said that it had some internal organs missing, the Daily Mail reported on Monday.

The missing organs - said to include kidneys, uterus and stomach - were reported over the weekend after British forensic scientists conducted a third autopsy on the body.

The previous two post-mortems were conducted in India.

The Daily Mail said that MacKeown was furious because nobody in India had sought her permission to remove Scarlette's organs.

Authorities in Goa, where Scarlette was found raped and murdered on a beach in February, said that taking parts of the body for tests was a part of the post-mortem procedure, the paper reported.

MacKeown said on Sunday at her home near Bideford, Devon, that she planned to return to India to seek an explanation.
