FIR against min for violating model code

The FIR was registered by Block Development Officer P Mahato against Minister for Rural Works Department Brishen Patel with Vaishali police station, they said.

Patel has been charged with distribution of handpumps which had stickers of his name in Vaishali Assembly constituency.

Other two state ministers who are facing model code violation charges are PHED Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey and Tourism Minister Rampravesh Rai.
