FIR against PCC chief

The block authorities lodged two FIRs against Jharkhand PCC chief Thomas Hansda for writing on walls without taking permission.

The Block authorities today lodged two FIRs against Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee President Thomas Hansda for writing on walls without taking permission, according to official sources.

Acting on a written complaints filed by two persons-- Chandradeep Yadav and Santosh Sarkar -- the Block Development Officer Rajmahal Radha Raman lodged the FIRs under Section 3 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act-1984 and Prevention of Defence and Property Act-1987.

The complainants had alleged wall-writting in favour of Hansda on their houses without taking permission.

The BDO conducted a videography to verify the fact before the FIRs were lodged, the sources said.
