Fire breaks out at second floor of South Block

Four fire tenders brought the flames under control. The cause of the fire was suspected to be short circuit.

A fire broke out at the second floor of South Block, which houses the Ministry of External Affairs and the Prime Minister Office on Monday night.

The blaze was spotted in a computer room on the second floor shortly after 9.45 pm, fire department officials said.
