A fire broke out inside the Jagannath Temple complex in Puri today, gutting a temporary kitchen set up for the Dusshera festival, police said.

No one was, however, injured in the fire that erupted in the kitchen set up outside the temple of Goddess Bimala, they said.

Special 'prasad' was being cooked in the temporary kitchen for Goddess Bimala on the occasion of the annual Durga puja festival, they said, adding that the fire was extinguished by priests, sevayats and devotees.
