A fire broke out in the tax payment counter of the Erode Municipal Corporation Administrative office.

A fire broke out in the tax payment counter of the Erode Municipal Corporation Administrative office.
According to police, the fire was noticed by one of the staffs of the Corporation at 1.40 am and informed the Fire and Rescue Services personnel who doused the fire.
Corporation officials said, no documents, computers and cash were damaged due to the fire.
