Five arrested, firearms seized

Five members of a gang, three of them women, were arrested during raid in Rourkela and weapons found in their possession, police said.

Police said one bike, Rs 45,000 in cash, a pistol and some sharp weapons were seized from the arrested - three women and a couple.

The accused were stated to be involved in several incidents of loot of money.

The five were forwarded to a local court today which remanded them to jail custody.
