Five killed in bus mishap

Five persons have been killed and more than 20 injured, eight of them critically, when a bus they were travelling in fell into a canal at Jhulauna village in Bihar's Lakhisarai district.

The accident occurred when the driver of the bus, returning to Lakhisarai from Sikandara, lost control over it while negotiating a sharp turn, police said.

The injured were rushed to a hospital here where condition of eight persons were stated to be critical, they said.
