Melon and lemon grass LIIT
Gaurav Lepcha, senior bartender, Asia Seven restaurant in Ambience Mall, shares with us his favourite quick-fix cocktail, a Long Island Ice Tea (LIIT) with a hint of lemon grass for that exotic flavour.
Ingredients
15ml Vodka
15ml White Rum
15ml Gin
15ml Tequila
10ml Triple Sec
100ml Fresh lemon grass concoction extract
30ml Melon extract or syrup
Method
Take a frozen tall glass.
Fill it with ice cubes till top.
Float all the white spirits into the glass.
Add melon syrup.
Pour lemon grass
concoction.
Top it up with some bitter lemon extracts.

Bar manager Sherine John from Smoke House Grill relies on fresh plums in his refrigerator and some Shiraz to spring up this surprise for guests

Ingredients

1 Fresh Californian plum

60ml Plum infused Hendricks

15 ml Crème de Cassis

15 ml Shiraz

Method

Muddle the plum well.

Add infused Hendricks.

Pour some crushed ice in a tall Hi ball glass.

Garnish with three plum slices and three speared ones.

Serve the drink with some fresh skinned plums as they act as a great accompaniment.

Richard Lambert, International brand ambassador and mixologist, loves to mix Cointreau with some cranberry and lemon juice that’s readily available in kitchen, to serve this drink
Ingredients
50ml Cointreau
30ml Cranberry juice
20ml Lemon juice
Method
Pour all the ingredients into a shaker with some ice.
Shake and strain well, and pour into a martini glass.
