Five more UPRTOU study centres in State

FOLLOWING THE demand of BEd students, Uttar Pradesh Rajarhi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU) has increased the number of study centres across the State. With the establishment of five new centres in Allahabad, Bulandshar, Baghpat and Azamgarh districts, total number of UPRTOU BEd study centres has gone up to ten.

With the establishment of five new centres in Allahabad, Bulandshar, Baghpat and Azamgarh districts, total number of UPRTOU BEd study centres has gone up to ten.

UPRTOU vice-chancellor Prof KNS Yadav said that Uperdaha Degree College, Baraut and Chaudhari Tulsiram Yadav Degree College, Tulsinagar in Allahabad, Shymlal Saraswati Degree College in Bulandhshar, Shibli National PG College in Azamgarh besides Digambar Jain College in Baghpat have been added as the centre for BEd course.

Prof Yadav said with the increase in the number of study centers, the numbers of seats allotted for BEd course has been fixed as 50 for each centre.

UPRTOU admission in-charge Prof Rambali Singh said that counselling of successful candidates of BEd entrance test would start from September 23.

Counselling for general candidates would be held on September 23, for reserved category candidates on September 24 besides wait listed candidates at UPRTOU academic campus, Manmohan Park, Katra at 10 am on September 25.
