Five pilgrims were killed and 25 others injured in a road mishap in Assam, police said.

The pilgrims were heading towards Tezpur when the bus collided head-on with another vehicle at Kohora on National Highway No 31, near the Kaziranga National Park last night, police said.

Five pilgrims died on the spot. The 25 injured were taken to a nearby civil hospital, police said.
The driver of the bus could not see another vehicle due to the thick fog and the bus rammed into the vehicle, police said.
