Five women passengers of Ernakulum Express train,were robbed of gold ornaments, mobiles and other articles worth Rs 2.5 lakh

Five women passengers of Ernakulum Express train, were robbed of gold ornaments, mobiles and other articles worth Rs 2.5 lakh, Railway police said on Friday.

The victims lodged a complaint to railway police.Four youths entered the women's compartment of the train between Panvel and Bhivandi Railway police in Maharashtra and robbed these five.

One of the victims told that the women's coach had no policeman to guard despite a provision of it.
