There was strong present of the CISF which is in overall charge of the security of the airport besides the police.
Policemen were also posted at various points outside the domestic and international terminals.
Police sources said that there was no untoward incident and pasengers were not stopped from entering and leaving the airport by the protesters.
There was no demonstration at the airport this morning.
AAI sources said some of the conveyor belts and rollers for passengers' baggages were not working but flights were operating normally.
