Referring to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s statement made in London during his UK trip, Dr Joshi alleged that the PM wanted to differentiate between India and Bharat. He said it was unfortunate that the British wanted to finish the Indian ideology and its identity. What was more tragic that similar efforts were being made by the Indian Government itself today by distorting the Indian history, Joshi said.

Joshi called upon the people to come forward against such forces because the real India existed in rural area. “We have to develop our rural areas to build a powerful country. We must not focus on urban area only,” he added.

The party workers offered a garland of 73 kg to Joshi on this occasion. Former UP speaker and BJP State president Keshari Nath Tripathi, Dr NK S Gaur , Rakesh Dhar Tripathi and other senior members described Dr Joshi as a visionary who brought drastic changes in all spheres.
