Dense fog disrupted air and rail traffic on Friday. Jammu railway station superintendent (SP) Ashwini Kumar said all trains were delayed due to low visibility.
Twenty-three trains from the rest of the country arrived late, including two - Pooja Express and Lohit Express - which ran 7-9 hours behind schedule.

Jammu airport SP Randeep Kumar said, "Two Air-India flights were cancelled, while the remaining 14 flights were delayed by 1-3 hours. The first flight could only land at 1 pm, while its scheduled landing was at 10 am."
The MeT has predicted that there will be no respite from fog over the next couple of days. "For the next 2-3 days, the plains of Jammu region will remain enveloped by fog," it said.
Meanwhile, Jammu on Friday recorded a maximum temperature of 9.3°C, seven degrees below normal. The minimum settled at 3.8°C, five degrees below normal.
The MeT has department predicted foggy weather for Saturday with maximum and minimum temperatures around 12°C and 6°C, respectively.
