Fog disrupts several flights

DENSE FOG at Delhi airport led to cancellation and diversion of several flights in the Delhi-Lucknow sector on Tuesday. Airport sources said two major diversions took place in the Delhi-Kolkata and Delhi-Mumbai sectors, making the flights land at Amausi airport in the afternoon .

Airport sources said two major diversions took place in the Delhi-Kolkata and Delhi-Mumbai sectors, making the flights land at Amausi airport in the afternoon. The Delhi-Lucknow flights were either rescheduled for the evening, or cancelled as visibility at Delhi airport went below 550 metres, sources said.
