Food inspector caught on charge of bribe

The Haryana state vigilance bureau has arrested Pawan Kumar, inspector, food and supplies department, Rania in Sirsa district, while taking a bribe of `1,500 from Gurmeet Singh of Sirsa in lieu of issuing a duplicate pink ration card to him. The accused had been booked and investigation into the case was on, an official spokesman said.
