Rain played spoilsport in the Indian Premier League for the second consecutive night game.This time the teams to suffer at the hands of the weather gods were Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings.

On Tuesday, the game between Kolkata Knight Riders and Deccan Chargers was abandoned due to a flooded Eden Gardens.

After officials decided on a delayed start because of rain, the match was scheduled to begin at 9pm but, after Royal Challengers Bangalore's Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bowl and with five minutes left for play to start, it began pouring again at the M Chinnaswamy stadium.
