Security forces on Wednesday achieved major success when they busted a militant hideout in Baramulla district of north Kashmir and recovered large quantity of arms and ammunition. No news of arrests of militants was reported.

Sources said that after a specific intelligence input, 52 Rashtriya Rifles of counter insurgency Kilo Force and Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police raided a militant hideout in Chandoosa forest area, which falls in the Baramulla district.
In the supposed raid, one AK-47, one AK magazine, 94 AK rounds, one rifle, two magazine, six rifle rounds, one pistol, one pistol magazine, 7 pistol rounds, one bag, two pheran, one light and one torch was recovered from the hideout which could have been used to disrupt the coming parliamentary polls, sources added.
