Just like many of us love to scan newspapers for astrological predictions for the day, a number of visitors are rushing towards fortune teller stalls at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) here, to know what is in store for them in the future.

These fortune tellers are certainly proving to be a big hit at the 14-day extravaganza.

The stalls of astro-palmists, Vastu Shastra, Tarot card readers and many others are catering to people of all age groups and from all walks of life.

For the fortune-tellers, their art is a great help for people to confront challenges of life bravely and efficiently.

"In a case where a person is uncertain of his or her near future and spending days carrying a drooped face, a prediction about any possibility of some good things coming his or her way in weeks or say, a few months, can brighten up anyone's days. You are able to live with it. You are able to manage your crisis," said Taro Mohini, a Tarot card reader.

"When I came to this stall, I was little nervous. But after she spelt the forecast, I am feeling very relaxed," said Bharat, a visitor.

Besides fortune-telling, many related products and books are also on sale at these stalls. This includes books on astrology, palmistry, gold-plated yantras of Vastu or computerised horoscopes.

While a consultancy on Vastu at these stalls costs you Rs.100, future reading is costlier at Rs 400!
