Police on Thursday recovered four crude bombs from an uninhabited premises close to a temple near Mattannur, about 30 KM from Kannur.

On a specific information, police raided the premises located near Kallerikara canal and found the bombs in an open place in the wee hours, police said.

A case has been registered under the Explosive Substances Act, they said, adding, the bombs have been defused.
