Four killed in cracker unit blast in Kerala

Four persons, including a woman, were killed and eight others injured when a cracker unit exploded at Thrithala in Palakkad district, police said.

The injured had been rushed to hospital and the deceased had not yet been identified.

The unit was said to be functioning illegally.

The victims were workers engaged in making crackers, police said.
