Four persons, including a criminal, were killed by unidentified assailants in Bihar's Sheikhpura district late on Thursday night, police said.

Superintendent of Police of Nawada district, Shalin, who also holds the charge of Sheikhpura, said that a gangster Jamua Ram and three others were shot dead at Manipu village under Ariari police station.

Though the exact reason behind the killing is not yet known, inter-gang rivalry could be one of them, he said adding investigation is on.
