Two self-styled commanders of Jaish-e-Mohammad and Harkatul Mujahideen outfits were among four terrorits killed in separate encounters in Jammu and Kashmir, a police spokesman said in Srinagar on Monday.

Three militants of Harkatul Mujahideen were killed in an overnight encounter with police and army at Dooru village in Sopore area of Baramulla district, the spokesman said.

One of the slain militants has been identified as self-styled chief operational commander of HUM Osman Qari while efforts were on to establish the identity of the two other ultras.
In another encounter, self styled battalion commander of JEM, Mustaq Ahmed Sofi alias Zahid, was killed by security forces at Mandin village in Pulwama district.
