Thirty-five samples of suspected patients were sent to the National Centre for Disease Control in New Delhi.

"We have received all the reports and four of them are positive," an official of the Government Medical College told reporters.

The government has made arrangements to quarantine the patients, he said.

Health Minister Sham Lal Sharma asked the people not to panic and said all necessary arrangement would be made to treat the patients.

"This is just one of the diseases, which can be cured. There is no need to worry or panic," he said in a televised appeal.
