On a tip off, police apprehended three NDFB ultras at Tinkhuti near Tezpur on Thursday.

The three were identified as Anup Basumatary, D Ukhrao and Robin Ronghang, they said.

Meanwhile, Shamshree Basumatary (19), a woman cadre of NDFB, was nabbed at Kamalajuli Mugasang by the Assam Rifles personnel yesterday.

Basumatary was handed over to the police and later produced before the district chief judicial magistrate, who remanded her to six-day police custody.
