“The militants first lobbed a grenade and then fired from their automatic weapons at a CRPF bunker outside the State Bank of India branch in Sopore town this (Friday) afternoon," a senior police official said.

“Three CRPF 'jawans' (troopers) and a civilian were injured in the attack. The troopers also returned the fire.

“The injured have been shifted to the hospital for treatment and the area is now being searched,” the officer said.
