Four persons were injured when a landmine exploded in a field of a villager in border area of Samba sector.

Four persons were injured when a landmine exploded in a field of a villager in border area of Samba sector on Saturday, police source said in Jammu.

The landmine exploded when the labourers were harvesting crops in the field of one Surjeet Singh on Saturday afternoon, they said.

The injured, identified as Mukesh Kumar, Rajinder Kumar, Kishore Kumar and Rajesh Kumar- all belonging to Bihar, sustained some minor injuries in mine blast and were admitted to hospital.
