Four terrorists killed in J&K

Two of the slain men have been identified as Shiraz Ahmad Chopan and Nazir Ahmad Mir, both local residents, the sources said.

Four terrorists were killed in separate encounters with security forces in Pulwama and Anantnag districts of Jammu and Kashmir since late Wednesday night, official sources said.

A terrorist of Al Mansoorian outfit was killed in a gunbattle with security forces at Chak Mirzapur in Shopian area. He was identified as Mohammad Ayoub Rather, the sources said.

Also, an unidentified terrorist was killed in an encounter at Yaripora in Kulgam area of Anantnag district, the sources said adding the operation was on till last reports came in.
