Free cardiac check-up camp

A TWO-DAY free cardiac check-up camp began at Asha Niketan hospital in the City on Saturday. More than 185 patients were examined at the camp by a team of doctors led by Dr James Thomas. Ninty-five cardiograms, 88 ECGs and 159 blood sugar tests were conducted during the day free.

Several people with complicated heart problems and many with high blood pressure and diabetes were examined and advised at the camp.

The camp will continue on Sunday between 2.00 pm to 7.00 pm. Those needing treatment and advise are requested to come early.

Archbishop of Bhopal Father Pascal Topno had inaugurated the camp by lighting a lamp in the morning.
