FRIENDS CLUB today entered the semifinals of the Champions Trophy Cricket Tournament being organised at Bab-e-Aali Stadium. The last quarterfinal of the tournament was played between Ambedkar Club and Friends Club.
With the help of entertaining 168 runs by Virendra Vaid, Friends Club set a mammoth 299-run target after winning the toss and opting to bat first. The team lost six wickets while reaching the total.

Chasing the target, Ambedkar Club batsmen could score 165 in 30 overs. The team lost seven wickets in the process. For the bowling side, Rajesh Ghenghat and Bhupendra took two wickets each.
