"Rahul should fulfil promise of the then Congress government. Former Prime Minister P V Narsimha Rao after demolition of mosque had said that it would be reconstructed at the same place," Azam told an election rally here.

"The ministers in UPA government are talking of interest of Muslims but the Congress general secretary should first ensure construction of Babri mosque," the SP leader said.
