Fun for Vision: City decked up in festive colours

The city is all decked up for the Gurgaon Carnival today. More than 7,000 people from various walks of life from the city and other NCR areas will participate in the carnival- 'Fun for Vision' - between 3.30pm and 7pm.

The city is all decked up for the Gurgaon Carnival on Friday. More than 7,000 people from various walks of life from the city and other NCR areas will participate in the carnival- 'Fun for Vision' - between 3.30pm and 7pm.

Organisers have advised the people not to use the stretches of MG Road and Old Delhi Road (near Gaushala Ground), Old and New Railway Road and New Colony More. According to the organisers, the carnival also aims at encouraging people to donate their eyes.

The city police have made elaborate arrangements for smooth traffic flow. More than 100 PCR vans have been pressed into action. The carnival, which will take 3.3km route through the city, will start from Gaushala Ground near MG Road intersection and Old Delhi Road.

From Gaushala Ground, the carnival will proceed to Sadar Bazaar and then take right turn towards Old Railway Road and from here it will take another right turn through Bhim Nagar to get to New Railway Road and then back to Gaushala Ground where it will end.
