The All India Agriculture Research Council (AIRC) had allocated a fund of Rs 1 crore about two years back and a government organization was given the contract to complete the renovation work. During this period, the auditorium remained under renovation work. Though the total AIRC fund was spent, the air-conditioning system at the auditorium could not be introduced. As per proposal the AC was to be done within the allotted funds but the whole amount was spent in re-cementing the walls and correcting the sound echo system.

Since, the CSA has no extra budget for such construction, it was seeking financial assistance from the governments to complete the auditorium as per specifications. It is worth mentioning that Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav had announced a grant of Rs 2.5 crore while inaugurating the Centenary Year Celebrations of the CSA on January 2 , 2006 but the grant could not be released till date.

Besides, delay in government directives for filling up the vacant posts has been causing problems for the students.
