DIRECTOR OF Institute of Public Administration (New Delhi) Dr PL Sanjeev Reddy said that gaining knowledge is a continuous process.
He was addressing the inaugural function of the new academic session of School of Management Studies (SMS) here on Monday.
Dr Reddy said students should also focus on personality development to become a useful member of the society.
Dr Reddy said that one could not afford to limit oneself in a specific field in the ensuing era of globalisation.
He suggested the students to work with commitment and enthusiasm.
He said that understanding of cultural diversity and its proper management was essential for getting success in international business.
Head of Management Department at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Prof Piyush Ranjan Agrawal said that now the entire world has turned into a ‘global village’.
“Under such circumstances, an entrepreneur is required to focus on resources and opportunities at global level to get success,” he said.
Director General of SMS, Prof Mukund Lal dwelt upon the academic activities of the institute.
Assistant Professor Dr Abhilasha Singh conducted the programme whereas Prof PN Jha proposed a formal vote of thanks. Faculty member at Commerce Faculty, in Banaras Hindu University, Prof Vinay Kumar Kakkad inaugurated the orientation programme of B.Com. (IInd Year).
