The complainant alleged that the incident took place on June 12. The police, however, were informed three days later.

“The victim, who works at a beauty parlour in NH5 area in Faridabad, alleged in the complaint that while she was waiting for an auto-rickshaw on June 12 in the NH5 area, one of the men, Rajat, picked her in his car and raped her in a house in Ballabgarh,” the police said.

She said that another youth, Gaurav, was with Rajat and both raped her. “We are verifying identity of the accused,” the police said, adding, “We are investigating the case from various angles.
