Gaur gone but Gokul Gram still on priority

Significantly, Finance Minister Raghavji categorically mentioned the two scheme while reading out his budget speech in the Assembly on February 21 last.

Bhopal-Hoshangabad Commissioner K K Singh today directed Collectors of the division to complete all the works of infrastructure related to Gokul Gram and Ayodhya Basti schemes.

He was reviewing development works of the division in a meeting at Commissioner office. Singh also directed to take action against officials who are not taking interest in developmental activities.

He asked the field officers to regularly monitor mid-day meal scheme and ensure that more children are attracted towards schools.

While reviewing progress of works being carried out under Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan, Singh directed the field officers to complete incomplete works by the end of this fiscal.

Collector Bhopal, Sanjay Shukla; Collector Betul, Chandrahas Dubey; Collector Rajgarh, G P Tiwari; Collector Raisen, Arun Kumar Bhatt; Collector Sehore, S K Mishra; Collector Vidisha, R K Mathur; Collector Harda, D P Ahirwar and Collector Hoshangabad, Faiz Ahmad Kidwai were present during the meeting.
