To strengthen the party at grassroots level ahead of assembly elections, Congress is going to organise a general body meeting of block committees across the state on September 11.

"This is for the first time block-level meet is being organised at the same time and day across the state," a party release issued here said.

At the meeting, booth level party workers would be addressed by leaders and poll preparedness would be reviewed, it said.
