Germany is facing fresh disciplinary proceedings after fans set off and threw fireworks during the country’s 2-1 Euro 2012 win over the Netherlands, UEFA said on Thursday, after fining the country for previous incidents.

“The UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body will deal with the case on June 18,” the website said. It was earlier announced that it had fined the DFB 10,000 euros (£8,000) after missiles were thrown onto the pitch during the country’s opening match with Portugal.
