Niger Delta militants have abducted a German oil worker in the southern Nigerian Rivers State, a police spokeswoman said on Friday.
"The German national was abducted by men dressed in military camouflage near Rainbow Town military barracks in Port Harcourt yesterday (Thursday)," Barasua Ireju told the agency.

He was taken to an unknown location, she added.
