Q. Can anyone please offer advice on the best mode for sightseeing in Kodaikanal? Initially, I thought of renting a bicycle but I don’t know how
practical it is. Do we get bikes for rent? Or is a cab or a van the best option? Dileep

As long as you are athletic, cycling is not a bad option at all to go around Kodaikanal. You will enjoy the landscape, and the weather is pleasant as well, more so for the parks and lakes that are quite close to the bus stand. But the challenge will be to find a designated place to park the cycle near the Coakers Walk and Bryant Park. For other places like the Pillar Rock, View Point, Pine Forest and caves, you’ll need to take a cab to get there.
