Farmers of several villages, including Ghodi Bachheda in Greater Noida, were 4 villagers seeking greater compensation were killed in a police firing in 2008, moved the Allahabad High Court seeking quashing of land acquisition.

Farmers of several villages, including Ghodi Bachheda in Greater Noida, were 4 villagers seeking greater compensation were killed in a police firing in 2008, moved the Allahabad High Court seeking quashing of land acquisition. The court will hear the matter, along with all other petitions of Noida Extension villages, on July 26. Buyers and builders also moved the court seeking to be made a party during the hearing. Meanwhile, farmers sat on an indefinite dharna at sector 74-76 crossing in Noida seeking more compensation for their land acquired for housing projects.
