DR GAUR Hari Singhania Institute of Management and Research, Kanpur would celebrate its 10th convocation on Thursday at Sir Padam Pat Singhania Auditorium of the Merchants Chambers.
HBTI director Prof RP Singh will be the chief guest. YP Singhania, chairman of the governing council of GHS- IMR will preside over the function.
At the function, 76 students of two-year full-time and 9 students of three-year part-time PGDBM courses will be conferred Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management.
On the eve of the convocation, Prof RK Dhingra, director of GHS- IMR while talking to the newsmen said that the Institute has recently organised several meetings such as Consumer Fair- 06, Maverick- 06, Word Pool and Alumini Meet in Kanpur. These meets have brought credibility to the Institution. The institute has new plans for updating management education, he said.
He added the students have received placements in big corporate companies. Out of 76 graduating students 70 have already been placed.
